Although the lead-up to Christmas is often a hectic time filled with socialising, gift shopping, and preparing the perfect festive meal, winter itself invites us to slow down, rest, and reflect. Now the year 2024 is coming to an end, it is the perfect time to reflect on the year that has gone by and to set intentions for what lies ahead.

A journal, a candle and cup of tea

Winter is an ideal time for introspection as we naturally slow down and go more inwards. By evaluating the past, we can set meaningful goals and intentions for the future with greater focus and purpose. So it helps us to make sure we’re not just living reactively, but intentionally. It is also a way to reconnect with our authentic selves and ensure we’re living in alignment with what truly matters. Probably the best way to reflect is by journaling. Underneath you can find 21 journaling prompts to help you to reflect.
